Brandon Uyeno
Coach, Grades 2-8

In 2009, Coach Uyeno begins his third year working with the Newport Beach Surf Dawgs.

Brandon began his playing career at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. While at Westlake, he was a four-year varsity letterman and earned All-State honors twice.

Coach Uyeno went on to become an All-ODAC Conference player at Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia. He played both long stick midfield and close defense for the Hornets, a perennial Top 10 Division III team. During his time at Lynchburg, Brandon helped the Hornets win two Conference Championships and make two trips to the NCAA Tournament (2003 & 2005).

Coach Uyeno lives in Newport Beach, where he surfs like a dawg in his spare time.
