Mark Todd

Mark Todd begins his first year working with the Newport Beach Surf Dawgs, but he is no stranger to coaching or the kids in the program. In addition to working with the Dawgs, Coach Todd is a beneficiary of the program's efforts. As the Head Coach at Corona Del Mar High School, he spends each spring working with Surf Dawg alumni.

A native of Baltimore, Maryland, he played high school football and lacrosse at Baltimore Polytechnic and Patterson High Schools. A recipient of the prestigious McCormick Unsung Hero Football Scholarship, awarded annually to one Maryland High School student athlete, he went on to play Division I football and lacrosse at Towson University.

For the past decade, Coach Todd has spent time coaching at a number of programs across Southern California. He has served as an assistant coach at Chapman University and the head coach of both Loyola Marymount University and UC-Irvine. Most recently, he was selected by Corona Del Mar High School to lead its lacrosse program into its first season of CIF competition.
