Matt Bond
Coach, Grades 7-8

Matt Bond has been working with the 7-8 grade program in Newport Beach since it began four years ago. He also serves as one of Mark Todd's assistant coaches with the varsity lacrosse team and as an assistant with the cross country and track & field teams at CDM.

Matt was a four-year varsity letterman and All American attackman at Pine Crest High School in Florida. Hew went on to play collegiate lacrosse at Johns Hopkins (1991-1996). In 1995-96, Bond was the leading scorer in the British Premier League as a member of the Timpirely Lacrosse Club in Manchester, England.

Outside of his athletic commitments, Matt works with Young Life, a Christian youth ministry, where he is a full-time youth pastor.

He is married to Katie, a psychologist, and they live in Corona del Mar.
