Surf Dawg Fall Returner Tune-Up & Beginner Clinic Series
Experienced/returning players Grades 3-8 that plan on playing in the Winter 2017-18 season with the Dawgs should plan on attending this Clinic.  Returners can expect continuing education on proper technique and mechanics involving all aspects of stick handling, as well as instruction on communication, footwork, and positioning in dodging and defending drills.

Beginners Grades 2-8 will get an introduction to lacrosse in a series of fun sessions that will build on what was taught the session before.  Beginners will be separated from experienced players and broken down into groups based on size and grade.  They will be shown proper fundamentals and taught the basic mechanics of scooping ground balls, cradling, throwing, catching, dodging and shooting.  If your son is interested in playing lacrosse in the Winter Season with the Surf Dawgs, he must complete a minimum of one Surf Dawg Fall Clinic Session. New players should make every effort to attend all 4 sessions to try-it-out.

All boys will be separated based on ability, grade and size.

Boys Grades 2-8

Cost: $40/Session or $150 for all 4 Sessions

If you need to borrow equipment from the Dawgs, please arrive 30 minutes early to allow the necessary time to get your son dressed to participate. Loaner equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves) is available on a first come, first serve basis. Beginners should bring their own lacrosse stick if possible, however, we do have sticks to loan.  Players should have a molded mouthpiece, water/gatorade for breaks, along with lacrosse/soccer/football cleats.  Please, no sneakers/tennis shoes.  A protective cup is also recommended.
